Why it matters

The most consequential work of the next decade will be governance work: designing the systems, structures, and values architectures that determine how intelligence, human and artificial, shapes the world. That work requires independence. It requires the freedom to ask foundational questions without a funding mandate, an institutional consensus, or a quarterly cycle determining which ideas are worth pursuing.

The Integrity Layer was built in that space. Five published frameworks, a growing body of governance research, and a concept portfolio for human flourishing, all developed independently, all publicly available. What comes next is more ambitious: the computational models, the interactive sandbox, and the long-form synthesis work that brings the complete architecture together.
